COAL MINES EMPLOYEES PF SCHEMES

The Government has framed a number of schemes for employees under Coal Mines Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1948. The Schemes are: Coal Mines Provident Fund Scheme, 1948; Andhra Pradesh Coal Mines Provident Fund Scheme, 1956; Rajasthan Coal Mines Provident Fund Scheme, 1958; Coal Mines Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976 and Coal Mines pension Scheme, 1998.

The Coal Mines Provident Fund Organization has extended the schemes to all the employees working under different Coal Companies directly or through contractors. Guidelines have been issued by the Board of Trustees to Coal Companies to ensure that each and every worker should be covered under the Act.
